A cigarette in hand?
No, than why won’t these hands stop shaking?
How comes it’s getting harder to stand?
Please believe me when I say I’m not faking.

The lights they are becoming dimmer.
I can’t see, oh please can’t anyone hear me?
This light that once shined bright is becoming slimmer.
No, please don’t flee!

I only hear silence now.
There is no longer that loving bliss.
I no longer hear what was once said to me, that once solemn vow,
“I won’t leave you, this I promise you. I Love You.” that was than sealed with a kiss.

I fall to my knees.
I curse into the deep dark night.
As I look down into the deep sea,
A land of hopes and promises slowly fade out of sight.

I’m slowly falling into this hole.
Suddenly I’m left drifting in a sea of hate and lies.
It surrounds and engulfs my body and soul.
It’s all that’s left of a love that once shown in a lover’s eyes.

The water pulls me under and as I go down,
A single tear drop slowly rolls down my cheek about to fall into the sea.
As it engulfs my head I watch this lonely tear drop fall without a sound,
It was left to mix with the sea and what was left of me.
